Sikkim, a state in northeast India, plans to install vending machines dispensing sanitary pads in its 210 senior secondary schools and secondary schools, according to an inshorts.com report.
The state is installing the machines to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene and reduce the female student dropout rate.
