KwikPay has launched a compact, contactless payment reader designed specifically for standalone amusement and vending machines, according to a press release. The KwikPay Contactless device aims to simplify the transition to cashless operations for operators without requiring a complete point-of-sale system overhaul or complex IT integrations.
The 2-inch by 2-inch reader connects via MDB or Pulse and can be installed in minutes, allowing machines to immediately accept contactless card payments. KwikPay highlights its compatibility with existing Sacoa Spark readers, offering operators the option to add it as a supplementary payment method. A key feature of KwikPay is its next-day payout system, which directly deposits earnings into an operator’s bank account, bypassing the traditional 30-day payout cycles.
This new solution is geared towards operators seeking a straightforward, flexible and rapid way to integrate cashless payment options into their claw machines, kiddie rides, arcade cabinets and vending units.
