Skidattl has debuted the commercial launch of its AR experience platform that lets anyone create AR experiences.
It offers new levels of human-computer interaction for businesses to connect closer with customers and prospects, according to a press release.
Anyone can create enhanced real-world experiences via virtual information overlays in physical spaces and doesn’t require extensive programming knowledge.
Turtle Bay Golf Course, Cruïlla Music Festival and real estate companies have conducted pilots of Skidattl and report significant enhancements to the interactions with customers, according to the release.
For example, golfers can look through their phone to see the direction and distance to any green, music festivals can show who’s playing on each stage in real-time and theme parks can dynamically show the wait times for rides with beacons overlaid on the real-world setting.
The platform incorporates App Clip technology that launches the experience instantly from a QR code or hyperlink.
