Oregon DMV expands vehicle registration options with Fred Meyer kiosks

The Oregon DMV has partnered with Fred Meyer, an Oregon-based supermarket chain, to launch self-service vehicle registration kiosks at nine locations across the state, according to a KGW 8 report. The kiosks, available in Beaverton, Bend, Eugene, Happy Valley, Hillsboro, Medford, Oak Grove, Salem and Tualatin, allow Oregonians to renew their vehicle registration quickly and conveniently.

These kiosks offer an alternative to traditional DMV office visits, mail-in renewals and online services. They accept cash at select locations and all accept credit and debit cards. An interactive map is available to help residents find a kiosk and confirm payment options.

«We believe these kiosks will improve customer service and access to DMV services,» Amy Joyce, a DMV administrator, told the news outlet. «This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the customer experience.»
