Malaysia launches digital kiosks to streamline government services

Malaysia has launched its first set of «Madani» digital kiosks, aiming to improve public access to government services, according to a Human Resources Online report. The initiative integrates over 90 government and private services into a single platform, facilitating quicker and more convenient access for citizens.

The kiosks, currently operational at Alamanda Shopping Centre, offer a range of services from various government agencies, including the Road Transport Department, the Employees Provident Fund and the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

«I had the opportunity to see and try out for myself the digital kiosks of government agencies and private parties that are available for the benefit of all levels of society,» Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar told the news outlet. «This is another important initiative from the Government in improving public services and meeting the current needs of the people.»
