Palmer Digital Group has begun shipping its battery-powered kiosk solutions, offering portable digital signage for retail, hospitality and event environments, according to a press release. These kiosks, first previewed at the National Restaurant Association Show in May, aim to provide businesses with flexible and sustainable display options for both indoor and outdoor use.
The «Digital Portable Poster Stands» are available in various screen sizes (24, 32, 43 and 50-inch) and boast a battery life of up to 24 hours with quick-charge capabilities. Designed for mobility, they feature diverse color options and portable casters suitable for different surfaces. The kiosks also include a built-in wireless occupancy sensor to help businesses gather data on customer dwell time and traffic patterns.
«Our new battery-powered kiosks will help a variety of brands and organizations enhance the ways they engage with their customers and audiences, while also revolutionizing their strategies for sustainability and operational efficiency,» Chuck Lewis, vice president, Palmer Digital Group, said in the release.
Future customizable options will include touch-enabled screens for applications like mobile ordering and wayfinding, as well as high-brightness displays for direct sunlight visibility. The kiosks support audio through built-in speakers and connectivity via LTE, WiFi or optional media players.
