Atomic Golf has launched a Las Vegas location featuring a property-wide LG digital signage network for guest experiences, according to a case study shared with this publication.
The network includes hundreds of LG TV displays managed via SAVI’s web-based CMS platform, which is itself built on LG webOS, along with a range of DVLED displays featuring independent content management.
LG is a founding partner of the venue, with LG TVs ranging from 43-inches-to-110-inches distributed across 103 hitting bays, several sports bars and the Cosmic Lounge.
More than 2,400-square-feet of 10mm high-brightness DVLED displays were installed outside the venue, with finer-pitch DVLED displays installed indoors, including 1.8mm DVLED displays underneath 1.5 inches of plexiglass in the floor of the Cosmic Lounge area.
Jones Sign provided and installed the DVLED displays, while Peerless Mounts provided custom DVLED display mounts.
«Part of the success of our unique design and installation relied on LG’s large product catalog, powerful software and ability to provide a solution for every need and space from the giant outdoor DVLEDs to the 55-inch displays in each hitting bay and 110-inch 4K LCD displays in the VIP suites,» Derek Austin, director of facilities at Atomic Golf Las Vegas, said in the case study. «When combined with the SAVI control system, we end up looking like maestros as we walk around with a tablet and switch content on request, which is great for sales walkthroughs with event clients or promotions partners. We can change the entire ambiance of a space, or the whole venue, in 30 seconds.»
«The guest experience is the driving force behind golf entertainment venues, and the race is on to develop increasingly engaging spaces and attractions,» Michael Kosla, SVP at LG Business Solutions USA, said in the case study. «Atomic Golf has set a new entertainment standard with the launch of its Las Vegas venue that delights guests with creative digital attractions from the parking lot to their private hitting bay, keeping with the city’s tradition and reputation of bright lights and unique experiences.»
