ImageHolders, a provider of self-service solutions, will deploy self-service kiosks across U.K. post pffice branches starting in spring 2025, according to an AV Interactive Report.
The kiosks will allow customers to perform various tasks independently, including sending parcels, purchasing stamps, returning items and printing tracking information. By automating routine transactions, the kiosks aim to reduce wait times and improve overall efficiency.
The kiosks will be designed to be accessible to all customers, featuring intuitive touchscreens and compatibility with assistive technologies. ImageHolders has partnered with Ricoh, Intelligent AR and Meld CX to enhance the functionality and user experience of these kiosks.
«Our self-service kiosks will not only reduce wait times and improve customer satisfaction, but will also ensure that these essential services remain inclusive to everyone,» Richard Satchell, CEO of ImageHolders, told the news outlet.
The nationwide rollout will begin in Spring 2025, with a phased approach to introduce kiosks to a select number of branches initially.
