Miraj Cinemas has launched its flagship IMAX Wadala multiplex in Mumbai, India, featuring Mumbai’s largest IMAX screen.
The screen measures 70-by-40 feet, according to a press release on the launch, which includes IMAX with Laser technology and begins its run with Ridley Scott’s Gladiator II.
The launch celebration included music star Suriya, who launched a new song and purchased the cinema’s first movie ticket during the event, which also featured a ceremonial lamp lighting.
