Hall Technologies, an electronics manufacturing company, recently debuted its Discovery Series 4K extension with USB and HDMI capabilities for software video conferencing and audio extraction, according to a company press release.
The kits were designed to address signal extension for multiple participants in classrooms, huddle spaces or conference rooms.
«Discovery is an HDBaseT Wall Plate Transmitter, and Receiver kit that pairs natively with soft-codec video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, WebEx and more,» Ken Eagle, VP of technology for Hall Technologies, said in the release. «With both U.S. and U.K. transmitter wall plate options available, Discovery makes collaboration easy and fluid with support for resolutions up to 4K. In Higher Education applications, Discovery extenders are an ideal solution, supporting both remote and in-person learning. Likewise for Conference Rooms and Huddle Spaces, Discovery provides a simple way to communicate and share ideas utilizing USB peripherals like cameras and speakerphones.»
The Discovery Series is available in both 1 Gang and 2 Gang wall-plate transmitters and pair with a universal Discovery receiver.
