Visitors to Michigan parks will be able to charge electric vehicles for free at 30 EV charging stations this summer under a partnership between the state, EV maker Rivian, nonprofit charging station provider Adopt a Charger and Consumers Energy, according to a woodtv.com report.
The Level 2 chargers can top off EV batteries in a few hours.
The partnerships allow free charging for both the EV driver and the taxpayer.
