GoVision has installed two massive LED walls at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Major League Baseball’s first game played in Tennessee.

The temporary screens, aimed at enhancing the fan experience, were in place for the Aug. 2 game, according to a press release.

In April 2016, GoVisision constructed and installed the world’s largest outdoor, permanent, center-hung digital display — dubbed Colossus — at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The screens constructed for the Speedway’s «outfield» are comprised of 3.9mm high-resolution panels measuring 90 feet x 9 feet 8 inches and 90 feet x 4 feet 9 inches, respectively. They provide views to the 3,500 fans seated behind the diamond that aren’t able to see the enormous Colossus screen suspended above them.

«This event is the perfect illustration of GoVision’s industry-leading ability to deliver both rental and fixed-installation solutions to our customers,» GoVision Founder and Chairman Chris Curtis said in the release.

«The Colossus installation nearly a decade ago was a groundbreaking project, and it still looks great. The temporary LED walls we’re erecting in the outfield will be ideal complements to Colossus, ensuring baseball fans the best possible views of the game.»

In addition to the outfield displays, GoVision is providing six outdoor LED screens made from state-of-the-art 1.8mm panels, as well as 36 55-inch television monitors for the Hospitality Suites at the Speedway.

«We’re grateful to have GoVision as a trusted partner at BMS, providing screens and support for our races,» Adam Rust, vice president of events and operations at Bristol Motor Speedway, said in the release.

Colossus is comprised of 8,694 square-feet of digiLED Toura 6mm LED panels, totaling nearly 20 million pixels. Each screen on the four-sided structure measures roughly 30 feet tall by 63 feet wide. The display hangs from a halo-shaped truss and features an additional circular LED display beneath the screens measuring nearly 6 feet in height.
