Soofa, a smart city infrastructure innovator, will launch ZerOOH, a 75-inch full-color, zero-carbon street kiosk, in Q3 of this year, according to a press release. Designed as a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional digital out-of-home displays, the ZerOOH kiosk will be entirely solar-powered, eliminating electricity costs and reducing carbon footprint.
The kiosks are set to rival existing installations like LinkNYC and IKE displays, offering two high-visibility full-color screens and space for static branding. They will also feature over 25 customizable widgets for real-time information such as events, local news, transit updates and digital wayfinding.
With a starting price of $29,900 including installation, Soofa highlights the ZerOOH as an accessible solution for municipalities, OOH companies, and private developers, noting delivery times as short as two months and installation in just 30 minutes.
«Soofa’s ZerOOH platform brings something fresh and much-needed to the OOH landscape,» David Krupp, CEO of Billups, an out-of-home media agency in the U.S., said in the release. «It delivers the full-color impact brands demand, with the sustainability and cost-efficiency cities increasingly require.»
