GrabScanGo today has launched its retail self-checkout platform, distinguished by its patented «zero-provisioning» architecture, which eliminates the traditional setup and configuration challenges of self-checkout systems, according to a press release.
The platform is designed to be plug-and-play, allowing for immediate installation and operation without the need for manual terminal registration, merchant ID configuration or specific hardware mapping. This innovation aims to significantly reduce the friction and IT resources typically associated with deploying unattended retail solutions.

GrabScanGo’s solution offers flexible checkout options, including a dedicated terminal with card readers, a mobile app with purchase history and stored payments, and an iOS App Clip for instant checkout without requiring an app installation or login. The system also includes a comprehensive backend for inventory and pricing management, enabling instant market setup and terminal relocation.
The platform is already deployed in various environments, including hotels, office campuses and industrial sites, with plans to expand into multifamily housing, co-working spaces, and gyms. GrabScanGo’s terminals integrate with hardware from Elo for touchscreens and MagTek for secure payment processing.
