Seco has launched its comprehensive Solution for Embedded Payments, aiming to streamline the integration of digital payment capabilities into smart machines and devices for Original Equipment Manufacturers. This turnkey solution addresses the increasing consumer demand for cashless and contactless transactions by providing secure and globally certified payment technology.
The integrated solution features a Human-Machine Interface screen, an integrated computing module running Clea OS, and the Modular Pay Mini, a certified NFC payment terminal. The Modular Pay Mini boasts certification for payment acceptance in over 80 countries, supporting major international credit card networks and contactless standards. It also functions as an NFC/RFID reader for closed-loop applications.
Seco further offers hardware integration services, providing a plug-and-play experience for OEMs by seamlessly fitting the HMI and Modular Pay Mini into a glass front panel. The solution is complemented by the Seco Payment API and the Clea Framework, enabling remote device management, over-the-air updates, telemetry data gathering and the potential for new recurring revenue streams through paywalled AI/ML applications.
«These solutions provide OEMs with flexibility and scalability, giving them a competitive advantage in today’s fast-paced digital economy,» Martin Duemling, senior product manager payment at Seco, said in the press release.
By adopting Seco’s integrated payment solutions, OEMs can accelerate their time-to-market, reduce operational complexity and enhance user experiences.
