VoCoVo, which provides in-store team communication solutions, has deployed its Series 5 Pro Headsets at select ShopRite supermarket locations in the New York tri-state area.
The wireless voice communication technology is designed to improve interaction among store employees and with customers, according to a press release
The headsets integrate with other store technologies, including telephony systems, allowing staff to handle customer calls directly. They also connect with services like curbside pick-up and self-checkout systems, converting notifications into voice alerts for store teams. Key features include full-duplex audio, environmental noise-canceling microphones and durability for demanding retail environments, offering up to 40 hours of standby time per charge.
«Since successfully launching VoCoVo at our first stores late last year, we have continued to accelerate deployment of the technology across member store groups,» Chris McCrae, retail innovation lead at Wakefern Food Corp., ShopRite’s retailer-owned cooperative, said in the release. «ShopRite store teams report more seamless direct communication with the headsets. The feedback from our stores has been very positive, and we’re excited to add VoCoVo’s headsets to even more locations this year.»
