BenQ, a provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, recently deployed its BenQ Board RM04 districtwide within the Royse City ISD, in Royse City, Texas.

The district installed the interactive display technology in about 650 classrooms. The BenQ Board RM04 seamlessly integrates with Google Workspace and empowers students and teachers to maximize classroom technology, according to a press release.

«The installation of BenQ Boards throughout Royse City ISD demonstrates their commitment to providing students with a modern and engaging learning experience,» Carly Burton-Sallay, senior marketing manager at BenQ Education, said in the release. «The RM04 board is easy for students to use and allows educators to enhance classroom learning in their own unique ways. By prioritizing integration with Google Workspace, the RM04 empowers teachers to leverage familiar tools, enhancing classroom collaboration and interactivity.»

The RM04 comes equipped with EZWrite, a whiteboarding software designed to enhance classroom engagement and discussions. The RM04 also features InstaShare 2, a wireless screen-sharing solution that allows up to nine students to share and control their screens from a laptop, tablet or smartphone, fostering dynamic collaboration.

«Flexibility and student-led instruction have been resounding positives stemming from this installation. We’ve witnessed a significant shift toward student-centered learning with these interactive panels,» Cody Holt, executive director of learning technologies at Royse City ISD, said in the release. «The boards empower students to actively participate in the learning process, moving beyond traditional lecture-based instruction and fostering a more dynamic and engaging classroom experience. We’re seeing kids take on a new role, now demonstrating learning in the classroom in real time thanks to BenQ.»
