Canadian travelers experienced significant delays at customs checkpoints in Toronto Pearson International Airport and other Canadian airports on Thursday afternoon, April 25th, due to technical problems that began around 3 p.m., according to a PAX News report. The Canada Border Services Agency confirmed that primary inspection kiosks in multiple airports, including Terminals 1 and 3 at Pearson, were affected by a service disruption.
While the CBSA implemented contingency measures to process passenger documentation, authorities warned travelers to anticipate longer-than-usual wait times.
Officials at Montreal-Trudeau International Airport expressed frustration over what they described as «recurring» kiosk outages, noting that airport representatives had recently met with CBSA and Shared Services Canada to address these ongoing issues.
