Avalue Technology Inc. has launched the ISS-15K5, a 15.6-inch Rockchip desktop self-service kiosk aimed at enhancing smart services across various industries.
The kiosk features a Rockchip RK3568 quad-core processor, a 15.6-inch IPS LCD with 1080P resolution and a PCAP multi-touch panel, according to a press release.
It offers multiple interfaces, including USB, LAN and COM ports, and runs on Android 11. The ISS-15K5 supports peripherals such as NFC readers, 1D/2D barcode scanners, an 80mm thermal printer and cash drawers.
The kiosk is designed to improve operational efficiency and customer engagement in sectors like retail, restaurants, hospitals, hotels, movie theaters and airports by automating processes such as self-checkout, order processing, check-in and ticket purchases, according to the release.
