Nayax Ltd. has launched a State-of-Charge feature for its EV Kiosk, designed to streamline the electric vehicle charging experience, according to a press release. The upgrade separates payment processing from access to charging session details, allowing drivers to make secure card-present payments at the kiosk and then access information like energy usage, charging speed and cost via a QR code scan on their smartphones. This eliminates the need for app downloads or registration.
The feature aims to address concerns about convenience and data privacy, offering digital e-receipts that merchants can customize for branding and promotional purposes. The company will showcase the new technology at the EV Charging Summit & Expo in Las Vegas, March 25-27, 2025.
