IKE Smart City has launched a network of 15 digital kiosks in Aventura, Florida, providing residents, businesses and visitors with wayfinding and city information, according to a report by Miami’s Community News. The initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Howard S. Weinberg, Esq., aims to enhance convenience and accessibility within the city.

The kiosks offer a range of features, including directions, dining guides, information on city resources, arts and cultural offerings, shopping, restaurants, hotels, businesses, job boards and emergency notifications. The project is a public-private partnership, with IKE Smart City providing the kiosks at no cost to taxpayers and guaranteeing a minimum payout of $600,000 annually to the city.

The launch event, held at the JW Marriott Turnberry Isle Resort, was attended by city officials and business leaders. IKE Smart City, a subsidiary of Orange Barrel Media, utilizes advanced hardware and software to deliver community-oriented digital information.
