PPDS, Oracle Red Bull Racing extend partnership with multi-year contract extension

Oracle Red Bull Racing is extending its contract with display partner PPDS which includes displays used in all key departments including trackside (and Grand Prix races around the world), Paddock Club hospitality and across the Red Bull Technology Campus in Milton Keynes.

With the partnership extension PPDS remains the official team partner of Oracle Red Bull Racing for 2025 and Philips Professional Displays developed and integrated across a widening range of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s operations, including new areas of the team’s campus in Milton Keynes, according to a press release.

«In the fast-paced world of Formula One, if you stop innovating or striving to be better, you’re settling for second best. This is something we believe in everything we do, both on and off the racetrack. It’s therefore imperative we choose the right partners to join us on our journey, whether building new engines or providing best-in-class digital displays. With PPDS, we have a partner who shares our philosophy and ambitions, and we are delighted to be extending into a new era with them,» Christian Horner, Oracle Red Bull Racing Team principal and CEO, said in the release.

PPDS joined forces with Oracle Red Bull Racing in 2022 as an ‘Official Team Supplier,’ with the mission of transforming the race day experience for VIP guests inside the team’s Oracle Red Bull Racing Paddock Club.

This experience was achieved using displays from the full portfolio of Philips Professional Displays — offering live 4K UHD race coverage, access to exclusive behind-the-scenes content, links to the pit lane, and audio feeds from the drivers and crew — with the centrepiece being a custom designed, portable and easily transportable 10m2 Ultra HD Philips dvLED videowall.

In 2023 PPDS became Oracle Red Bull Racing’s exclusive digital display.

Recent examples include revolutionizing the global marketing team’s offices, with 13 game changing Philips interactive displays, the installation of a 110-inch dvLED wall in the MK-7 Boardroom, and the record breaking 46.25 metre wide Philips dvLED wall inside the updated MK-7 events venue, officially unveiled in September.

Going forward solutions developed by PPDS will become part of the newly built state-of-the-art, 5,000-foot Red Bull Ford Powertrains facility, used to design and develop the next generation of engines in house.

«In AV the best success stories are driven by true partnerships. Industry leaders and pioneers coming together to deliver winning solutions. That essence is fully captured working with Oracle Red Bull Racing, a team like us, that prefers to lead rather than follow and is not afraid to take risks to achieve its goals and ambitions. We are incredibly proud of what we have been able to achieve together and look forward to continuing this success,» Martijn van der Woude, VP, global marketing and business development at PPDS, said in the release.
