National Retail Solutions (aka NRS) has partnered with local organizations to bring holiday cheer to the Hispanic community in Union City, New Jersey.
NRS partnered with El Especialito, a Spanish-language newspaper, and the non-profit Save Latin America (aka SLA), in two events, according to a press release on the initiative.
The effort included a Christmas Eve toy drive and Santa Claus photo op along with a Three Kings Day celebration at SLA’s headquarters; both events featured gifts donated by SLA.
«It was wonderful to partner with El Especialito and SLA to honor the cherished Hispanic traditions of Christmas and Three Kings Day,» Elie Y. Katz, president and CEO at NRS, said in the release. «We are committed to supporting initiatives that bring smiles to children’s faces and unite our community during these special holidays.»
«For many families, the holiday season can be financially challenging,» Antonio Ibarria Sr., publisher at El Especialito, said in the release. «This initiative, in collaboration with NRS and SLA, provided a meaningful way to bring joy and alleviate some of the burden for these families.»
