GM has partnered with EV charging firm ChargePoint to roll out 500 ultra-fast EV chargers across the United States, according to automotivedive.com.
The charging stations will be branded under GM Energy, according to the report, with many locations set to deploy ChargePoint’s OmniPort technology.
OmniPort allows charging stations to automatically provide CCS- or NACS-compliant charging without the need for an adapter.
The partners have not revealed the location of installations at this time.
