IDEMIA expands kiosk network for smoother border control in Australia

IDEMIA Public Security, which offers biometric solutions, has signed a 10-year extension of its agreement with the Australian Department of Home Affairs, according to a press release. The extension will continue to support the upgrade of arrival systems kiosks at eight major Australian airports, enhancing the travel experience for international visitors.

IDEMIA’s Gen3 kiosks, already deployed at key airports across Australia, offer a biometric border control solution. By utilizing facial recognition technology, travelers can verify their identity, reducing wait times and improving overall efficiency.
