MEDnRX, an El Dorado Hills-based telemedicine company, has opened its first physical location, a telepharmacy kiosk, at the SF Supermarket on Sunrise Boulevard, according to an ABC 10 report.
This approach to healthcare delivery aims to provide convenient and accessible medical services to the community.
«With the help of technology, our goal is to make healthcare more accessible and more affordable,» Vaibhav Shah, co-founder of MEDnRX, told the news outlet. «We are constantly innovating to improve the way people access care, ensuring that convenience and cost-effectiveness are prioritized.»
The kiosk offers a variety of services, including virtual medical consultations and on-site pharmacy services. Patients can consult with a medical provider at the kiosk, receive prescriptions and pick up medications on-site. They can also use the MEDnRX app to schedule virtual appointments, choose a pickup location for prescriptions or opt for home delivery.
