A solar-powered information kiosk has been installed in downtown Sun Prairie, Wisconsin providing residents and visitors with easy access to local information, according to a WKOW report.
The kiosk features an electronic display showcasing bus schedules, road closures and upcoming public meetings.
A partnership between the city, the Tourism Commission and Downtown Sun Prairie made the project possible. Colleen Burke, the city’s Economic Development Specialist, expressed enthusiasm for the kiosk’s potential to enhance community engagement and provide essential information.
«I am excited for the new kiosk to be available to the public as it will serve as a hub of useful information by promoting local events, showcasing timely updates, assisting with community navigation, and more,» Burke told the news outlet.
