Digital wayfinding kiosks are now available to help tourists navigate Covington and the broader northern Kentucky area, according to a Link NKY report.
The kiosks are part of a larger wayfinding pilot program created by meetNKY, the City of Covington, Durham Brands, RoveIQ, Southbank Partners and the Covington Business Council.
In addition to providing tourism and wayfinding services, the kiosks feature photo booth, current events and weather software.
«meetNKY and the wayfinding program’s partners had a vision to elevate the experience of visitors to our region,» Covington Economic Development Director Tom West said in a press release quoted by the news outlet.
«We have this incredible Riverfront Commons trail system, and we’re going to have a lot of visitors and folks from the region enjoying it. Our goal was to figure out how we get those visitors deeper into The Cov to spend money and support our local economy.»
