Bois Forte Band of Chippewa, a Northland, Minnesota, Indian reservation, has introduced public health vending machines, the first tribal nation in the U.S. to introduce such machines, according to a northernnewsnow.com report.
The machines provide the products for free.
The territory has two machines, one at Fortune Bay Casino and the other at the Nett Lake convenience store.
The machines offer Narcan, which reverses opioid overdoses, HIV and diabetes test kits, underwear, snacks, water and socks.
