Taco Time Northwest deploys drive-thru digital signage

Taco Time Northwest, a chain of 79 Mexican QSRs in western Washington, recently selected LG Business Solutions USA to deploy digital drive-thru menu boards. Zones LLC, a global IT service provider, worked with Taco Time to develop the drive-thru solution with a third party QSR-focused tech company, according to a press release.

LG provided two 55-inch 55ZE4F vertical outdoor displays with 4,000 nits of brightness for the first location in Monroe, Washington. The restaurants can configure the display to provide order confirmation to customers. The Monroe location also deployed three 43-inch LG displays in the queue area.

Following this deployment, the drive-thru saw a 7.5% increase in cars and an average check increase of 5.2% year-over-year.

«The digital screen is the customer’s main point of interaction, so it’s critical to use displays that offer exceptional visibility in virtually any lighting situation with bright colors and reliable performance every day, regardless of weather conditions,» Delon Lew, advanced technology executive, Zones said in the release. «The full solution we sourced had almost everything we needed, but we decided to compare LG’s high-brightness outdoor displays against the standard included display, and we all agreed the LG appearance was superior.»
