Heijmans, a Netherlands-based construction company that produces healthy living spaces, recently refurbished its main office with a dvLED wall installation thanks to PPDS, Philips’ digital signage provider.

To provide an engaging office centerpiece, PPDS provided its 7000 series high-brightness LED panels at Heijmans’ headquarters in Rosmalen, Netherlands.

For nearly 100 years, Heijmans has built residential facilities, shopping centers, business parks and other commercial property in the Netherlands. The construction firm, which focuses on environmentally-friendly designs, has more than 4,500 employees.

Preparing for the LED project, Heijmans wanted to craft a display that would «exude creative thinking within their own showroom,» according to a press releases from PPDS. The company’s goal was to showcase its innovativeness and progressive nature. In addition, with natural light pouring into the recently-renovated showroom, the display had to be bright to be property noticed. It includes 1,200 nits of brightness.

Taking cues from the creativity of Heijmans’ main hall, PPDS, with help from BIS/Econocom, the company that installed the display, developed an attention-grabbing AV solution, placing the Philips 7000 Series on a central corner wall. The large display features a 45-degree cabinet design that includes input from single and multiple content channels. Heijmans plans to use the display to broadcast content and news, along with company and project information.

Another main objective for Heijmans was to feature the company’s innovativeness at the heart of its headquarters, developing a lasting impression for staff and visitors.

In an email to Digital Signage Today, Bart Donkersloot, sales director at BIS/Econocom, said the Philips LED product is cost effective and allows for user creativity while being installed.

«It was a flawless installation and we couldn’t find any dead pixels,» Donkersloot said. «The Phillips 7000 series from PPDS is one of the best of its kind.»
