RVM Systems, a Sweden based manufacturer of «reverse» vending machines for recyclables, and Tomra, a Norway based manufactuer, are both expanding in Singapore, which is developing a return policy for beverage containers, according to a Straight Times report.
RVM, which already has 50 installations in Singapore that have been operated by F&N Foods and the National Environment Agency since 2019, is planning to add a facility in Singapore. The machines can process 800 drink containers a day and dispense shopping rewards.
Tomara established a facility in Singapore last month.
