Voter registration kiosks are now available in Montana to improve access to Native Americans, according to a Montana Free Press report.

Western Native Voice, a nonprofit, in 2021 installed three kiosks on the Fort Peck Indian Reservation and one in the lobby of Missoula’s All Nations Health Center, while two more were installed this year on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation and in the Helena Indian Alliance Center lobby.

Western Native Voice’s portal offers a pre-filled voter registration form, then prints the form and mails it to the registrant to sign, date and submit to their county election office along with a state-approved photo ID. The forms include an instruction letter and a stamped and pre-addressed envelope. The forms can also be used to update voter registration information.
