Client Overview:

Millennium Print Group (MPG), a leader in the trading card printing industry, is a high-volume print manufacturer based out of Morrisville, North Carolina. As one of the leading printing manufacturers and offset lithography service providers in the US, MPG operates more than 1,000,000 square feet of manufacturing and fulfillment facilities.

Challenge:

MPG utilizes over 1,200 temporary workers per day at one of its main facilities and needed to modernize, automate, and streamline how they manage this large, often fluctuating contingent workforce.

Being sourced from 15+ staffing agencies, MPG’s temporary labor pool was difficult to manage in back-end administrative and HR functions, as well as worker-facing interactions such as registration, onboarding, building security access, labor clock-in/out, and activity tracking.

MPG’s Business & Project Goals:

  • Efficiently manage, automate, and streamline its growing temporary workforce while also expanding its operational capabilities via launching new production lines.
  • Enhance the security of their production facilities.
  • Optimize costs

Project Success

Through leveraging 50 friendlyway kiosks, four friendlyway software modules, and seven partner-provided hardware systems for security and parking management, friendlyway was able to successfully achieve MPG’s desired project outcomes.
